Privacy notice
This notice explains what personal data this website uses, why, and your rights.
Who is responsible
Edwards Bros (Spaldwick) Ltd, company number 00598511, Fenland House, 15B Hostmoor Avenue, March, Cambridgeshire, PE15 0AX, is the controller of your personal data. Contact: [contact email to be added].
What we use and why
| Data | Why | Lawful basis |
|---|---|---|
| Your name, email address, billing details and card details, collected by Stripe when you pay | To take payment and send your receipt | Contract |
| A record of your purchase (date, amount, payment reference) | Accounting and tax records | Legal obligation |
| Your IP address, in our hosting provider's logs | Running the website securely and blocking repeated misuse | Legitimate interests |
Your generator answers
The answers you type into the RAMS generator are saved in your own browser (local storage) so they are not lost while you pay. We do not keep a copy on our servers. When you pay, we attach a fingerprint of your answers to the payment — a one-way code that cannot be turned back into your answers — so we can check the document you download matches what you paid for. We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which records page views without cookies and without identifying you. We use no advertising cookies.
Who else handles your data
- Stripe takes payments. We never see your full card details. Stripe's own privacy policy explains how it uses your data.
- Vercel hosts this website and keeps short-term server logs. Vercel is based in the United States, so these logs may be processed outside the UK under appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep it
We keep purchase records for six years from the end of the financial year they relate to, as tax law requires. Server logs are kept only briefly by our hosting provider.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to or restrict how we use it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [contact email to be added]. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
